Father Murray Watson is a priest of the Diocese of London, Ontario, and a member of the faculty of St. Peter’s Seminary in London, Ontario, where he teaches Sacred Scripture. Father Murray received his Licentiate in Sacred Scripture (S.S.L.) from the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome in 2002, studied at the École Biblique in Jerusalem, and recently completed his doctoral studies in Scripture at Trinity College in Dublin. He has taught on the Bible in various parts of Canada, in Europe and in the Holy Land. Father Murray is active in Jewish-Catholic dialogue, and much of his research and writing concerns the Jewish background of early Christianity, and the intersections of Jewish and Christian Biblical interpretation. He is a past President of the CBAC, and most recently served as Editor for our journal, The Word is Life.
